After
the logs are brought to our yard in Frohna, Missouri, they are put
through our sawmill where we focus on grade sawing. This means we
concentrate on obtaining the highest yield and highest value possible,
out of each log, as well as each piece of lumber. |

| Each
board is inspected by a NHLA certified lumber inspector. After
inspection, the lumber is put on sticks and stacked straight and flat in
one of our air-drying sheds. The lumber dries naturally in air drying
sheds for approximately three months depending on specie and thickness. |
After air drying, the
lumber is placed into one of our dry kilns. Here we carefully finish the
drying process, by daily monitoring the progress of the lumber's
moisture content in each kiln.

After kiln drying, each
board is inspected once again by another NHLA certified lumber
inspector. This is to ensure dependable quality and to follow through
with consistent, first-class lumber.
